Ronda Westcott, MD
Dr. Prince attended medical school and residency at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Dr. Prince stayed on at Loma Linda for an additional year as the pediatric chief resident. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Jeanie's hobbies include: baking, playing the piano, and hiking. She loves spending time with her husband Bryce, and their two sons.

After residency, along with Dr. Prince, she founded Lakeside Pediatrics. In addition to being board certified in pediatrics, she is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Westcott enjoys being at the lake, hiking, snow shoeing, cooking, and reading. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, their two daughters, and their labrador.

Dr. Brian attended medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his pediatric residency at Loma Linda University Children's hospital. Dr. Hickok is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. After completing residency and one year at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital as an attending physician, Dr. Brian spent several years in private practice in Maryland before joining Lakeside Pediatrics. He loves spending time with his wife Heidi, twin boys, and his daughter. He enjoys fly fishing, riding his dirt bike, and snow skiing.

Dr. Matt Parker was raised just outside of Spokane. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Washington, after which he went on to the Medical College of Wisconsin for medical school. He recently completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of California, Los Angeles Mattel Children’s Hospital. He recently moved to Idaho with his wife, who will be working as a pediatric hospitalist for Kootenai Health, and two small children. Dr. Parker spends his free time rooting for the Seahawks, Mariners, and his alma mater UW Huskies

Dr. Riley is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Riley received her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine in New York City. She also completed her residency at the University of California San Francisco in California. Dr. Riley, her husband, and her young family enjoy local downtown events and traveling to visit family. In her free time, Dr. Riley also finds pleasure in hiking, running, traveling, and reading.

Dr. Jeff Shirts grew up in Coeur d'Alene, attending Dalton Elementary, Canfield Middle, and Coeur d'Alene High Schools. He is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He went on to Brigham Young University followed by the University of Washington School of Medicine. He completed his Pediatric Residency at the University of Florida - Jacksonville, including a year as chief resident, in order to fulfill his lifelong dream of being a pediatrician. He is delighted to bring his young family back home to Coeur d'Alene to join Lakeside Pediatrics and to follow his passion of caring for kids of all ages. Dr. Jeff loves spending time with his wife, Amber, and their 3 kids. He also enjoys exercising, experimenting in the kitchen, traveling to experience different cultures, binge watching TV shows, and singing.

Krista is originally from Ohio where she earned an undergraduate nursing degree from Cleveland State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University. She has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2003 working in Coeur d’Alene and Spokane. She is delighted to join the team at Lakeside Pediatric. In her free time Krista enjoys cooking and baking for her husband Scott and two daughters. Otherwise, Krista prefers to be outside gardening or enjoying the amazing natural beauty of the West while hiking or bicycling.

Nicola was raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1994. She obtained her Master’s of Science in Nursing and her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. She moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 2003 where she worked in private practice as a pediatric nurse practitioner until 2016. In 2011, Nicola obtained her Pediatric Mental Health certification after completing a fellowship through Arizona State University. Nicola and her family live in Coeur d’Alene. She loves spending time with her family hiking, camping, biking and skiing. She shares her love of cooking with her kids. She loves reading, exercising and feels best when she is out in nature. Nicola so enjoys being a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She believes that through education, children and their parents and caregivers are empowered to improve upon their health. She loves partnering with families to provide holistic, honest and compassionate care to children and is excited to have joined the Lakeside Pediatrics team.
