FRONT OFFICE TEAM MEMBER

Job Types: 

  • Full-time

Medical Specialty:

  • Pediatrics Front Office

Position Duties and Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

  • Greeting and welcoming patients and their families to the office. 
  • Checking in /out patients, verifying clerical and insurance information.
  • Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
  • Answering, screening and forwarding patient phone calls. 
  • Intake, update, and maintain patient's electronic medical and demographic records.
  • Maintain work area and cleanliness of patient lobby. 
  • Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Experience:

  • The ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality (HIPPA)
  • The ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with other team members.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and office equipment.
  • The ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • The ability to evaluate one’s own learning needs and seek out educational opportunities.

Schedule:

  • 8-10 hour shifts.
  • Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred).
