Position Duties and Responsibilities (but are not limited to):
- Greeting and welcoming patients and their families to the office.
- Checking in /out patients, verifying clerical and insurance information.
- Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
- Answering, screening and forwarding patient phone calls.
- Intake, update, and maintain patient's electronic medical and demographic records.
- Maintain work area and cleanliness of patient lobby.
- Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Experience:
- The ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality (HIPPA)
- The ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with other team members.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and office equipment.
- The ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize multiple tasks.
- The ability to evaluate one’s own learning needs and seek out educational opportunities.
